Who is Shakira?
I have spent the last eight years working in events, everything from product launches to weddings, I absolutely love the buzz of it. For some it is a nightmare for me. I get such an adrenaline rush from seeing all the planning and discussing come to life. Whilst planning events I always had a passion for writing, as a child I dreamed of being an author, to write books that impacted lives for the better, but others laughter and realism kicked in and so I kept my writing to myself and a few close friends.

Such a big topic to delve into, but a great place to start is to know what you enjoy. Behind what we enjoy many of us find our gifts and talents. So often we overlook what we enjoy as just us having meaningless fun, but if we dig a little deeper, more often than not we will find a hidden gift.

We were so lucky to have Sukki at our most recent LIVE Piazza - BACK TO YOU. The theme was all about reinvention, navigating this tricky time of year, and returning to our lives after the pandemic. Having navigated her own challenges, personal discoveries and plenty of reinventions both in her life and career, we felt Sukki was the perfect person to inspire us all and help us start the new school year with a motivated and positive outlook. And she didn’t disappoint!
