I have spent the last eight years working in events, everything from product launches to weddings, I absolutely love the buzz of it. For some it is a nightmare, for me I get such an adrenaline rush from seeing all the planning and discussing come to life. Whilst planning events I always had a passion for writing, as a child I dreamed of being an author, to write books that impacted lives for the better, but others laughter and realism kicked in and so I kept my writing to myself and a few close friends.
Fortunately for me my contract was ending at work, and I had absolutely nothing to lose. Why not go freelance and do both? Events and Copywriting, an unusual duo, but perfect for me. And so in the early hours of a Friday morning, I wrote to Simona, the HubDot Founder asking for a job.
I am a British Citizen, now living in Paris for a year as I fell in love during the pandemic and married a handsome Parisian. I finished my job today in Events Management and have decided to pursue a career in Copywriting and Social Media…
Just 4 days later I received my contract, and was amazed to know that Simona was just as wonderful on Zoom as she was via email. HubDot is a company with values like my own, a company that cares about the individual, loves to facilitate human connection and wants to make a difference. I feel so grateful to be a part of such an incredible team.
