Hub Dot is a registered company with a social mission: to help humanity rediscover the power of human connection. Our Community events are ticketed to pay for logistics and operations and priced affordably so that almost anyone can attend.

Client events involve applying the Dots to address a business challenge. They are the commercial engine that allows us to spread the transformational power of the Dots around the world.

Are you a charity?

Are you a women’s organisation? Can men attend?

Everyone is welcome at Hub Dot events but women still make up most of our numbers. When we launched, there was a gendered aspect to events because we wanted to create something that recognised the whole of women’s personalities - professional, personal, domestic, creative - without labels or stereotypes. As Hub Dot has grown, however, we’ve realised that men can benefit just as much from the Dots as women can, and they now regularly speak and attend events.

So in short - yes they absolutely can and we hope to see you soon!

What can I expect at an event?

Events last around two hours. They are usually held in light, airy spaces and we get anything from 30 to 150 people attend depending on the night. Hub Dot events are unique in the mix of people they attract - creatives, scientists, entrepreneurs, performers, city types - which provides the right environment for Alchemy to occur.

When you arrive, you’ll be asked to choose one coloured Dot to represent your mindset that evening. We encourage every one to come with an open mind and open conversations with the question ‘What is your story?’ rather than ‘What do you do?’

Throughout the evening around eight people will take the stage to tell their stories to the room. Each lasts for exactly one minute - this is the Hub Dot format. There are no powerpoint slides or theatrics (actually sometimes there’s theatrics). People laugh, cry and cheer and leave with meaningful new connections.

Hub Dot sometimes hosts more intimate dinners, too - sign up to the newsletter to find out about the next one.

I see that you work with ‘Clients’. Can anyone attend one of your corporate events?

Every Hub Dot experience is different and the same goes for our work with organisations. We work closely with each client to find the right solution to their organisational challenge. Often this means we’ll be able to extend an event to our community, but this isn’t always the case. We’ll announce every community event in our newsletter so sign up to keep updated.

Great! Get in touch. There’s no charge to host a Hub Dot but we’re pretty careful about who does it, and how.

I’d like to run a Hub Dot in my city, how does it work?

Yes please! We are always looking for volunteers at our events, although occasionally there are paid projects available. Let us know more about you.

I’d like to help out, what can I do?
